About these terms
HytaleDB (hytaledb.net) is an independent, unofficial reference website that publishes structured Hytale game data — items, recipes, NPCs, drop tables and item qualities — extracted from publicly distributed game files and published as versioned snapshots. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Acceptable use
You may browse, search and link to HytaleDB freely, including for content you publish (videos, guides, wikis, tools), as long as you follow the data licensebelow. You may not republish the database as a whole or in substantial part, resell access to it, or present the site's content as your own service. Automated bulk downloading is not supported; the site is published as static pages and is meant to be used like a reference, not scraped.
Data license
The HytaleDB compilation — the selection, structured organization, cross-references and derived summaries of game data published on this site — is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0).
You may share and adapt that compilation for any non-commercial purpose, provided you give appropriate credit — for example, “Data from HytaleDB (hytaledb.net)” — and indicate if you made changes.
This license does not cover Hytale itself. The underlying game data, item names and descriptions, creatures, icons and all other in-game content are and remain the property of Hypixel Studios (and its licensors). HytaleDB claims no ownership of that material; the compilation license above applies only to the database work published here. Item artwork shown on this site is displayed for identification and reference, and any use of it outside this site is subject to the rights of its owners.
Trademarks and affiliation
HytaleDB is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hypixel Studios or Riot Forge. Hytale and all related names, logos and assets are trademarks or copyrights of their respective owners. This site is a fan-made reference built from publicly distributed game files.
Availability and no warranty
The site and its data are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Game data is extracted and verified automatically, but extraction errors are possible, snapshots reflect a specific game version at a specific time, and data can change or be corrected between snapshots. Always check the snapshot label shown on every page and in the footer. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HytaleDB and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or its data — including decisions you make based on information published here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project evolves; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
